Paola Maccioni's research unfolds through different sculptural paths that explore the possibilities of aluminum, the only material she uses, through the manual process of negative chasing.

Each series arises from the relationship between gesture and material: the aluminum surface is transformed from within, becoming a place of tension between plane and volume, memory and transformation, light and depth.

Matter and Transformation

Through hand-chased aluminum, the surface becomes a space between mark, light and volume, revealing the hidden tension of matter.

Organic Forms

Natural forms and living structures are reinterpreted in aluminum through relief, mark and the movement of the surface.
