Oblò constructs a marine vision enclosed within a circular frame reminiscent of a ship's porthole. The golden structure becomes a visual threshold through which the gaze opens onto a nocturnal landscape of sea, sky and moonlight.
Within the scene, made of cantilevered aluminium, a sailboat, a reef with a lighthouse and some suspended clouds emerge. The surface of the sea reflects the light, creating a pattern of reliefs that amplifies the movement of the water.
The work transforms metal into a small suspended landscape, where the reflective material builds a continuous dialogue between light, space and imagination.
