Pensiero

This work represents an anatomical heart reinterpreted through the language of embossed sculpture on aluminium. The recognisable and universal form is translated into a metal surface that combines anatomical precision and material sensitivity.

The handwork generates slight variations on the surface, bringing out soft, pulsating volumes. Arteries and vascular branches cut through the metal like a vital network running through the structure, suggesting the invisible movement of flowing life.

The golden treatment amplifies the symbolic value of the organ: the heart is not only a biological element, but a place of emotions, memory and human identity. The metal material, rigid and resistant, is thus transformed into a shape that alludes to the fragility and strength of life.

Through the light gliding over the surface, the work renders the image of a heart suspended between scientific and emotional dimensions, where anatomy and symbol meet in a single form.
