Made by hand embossing on a thin aluminium sheet, Tartaruga is constructed as a compact structure defined by progressive relief tensions.

The shell becomes a controlled pressure field, where light highlights the internal geometry and distribution of forces. The figure develops as a balance between mass and surface, transforming the image into a formal configuration.
