Fractured Balance explores the tension between stability and rupture through a structure composed of geometric shapes that intersect and push each other through the space of the metal surface.
The triangular shapes, modelled cantilevered on aluminium, emerge from the plane, creating sharp, sloping volumes that suggest a dynamic and precarious balance. Between these structural elements, the surface is criss-crossed by a dense pattern of engravings made by burin, which build a fabric of lines capable of capturing and fragmenting light.
The contrast between the smooth surfaces of the volumes and the sign density of the background generates a continuous visual tension, transforming the metal into a vibrant field where order and fracture coexist.
