The work is inspired by the microscopic forms of Globigerina, a planktonic marine organism that inhabits the oceans. The radial, organic structure recalls the natural architecture of these tiny living beings, transforming it into a large, dynamic composition.
Made of embossed and chiselled aluminium, the surface builds a pattern of ribs and cavities that develop from the centre outwards, generating a continuous, almost spiral movement.
Through the magnification of a shape invisible to the naked eye, the work brings the microscopic world into dialogue with metallic matter, revealing the surprising complexity of natural structures.
