This work depicts a world rolling towards ruin, propelled by a small dung beetle: a symbol of toil, transformation and resilience.
The sphere it carries is a corrupt globe, scarred by humanity's faults and indifference to the pain of others.
Yet, high above, a small kite, fragile but stubborn, with the colours of Palestine, is released.
A subtle detail that becomes voice, resistance, memory.
The aluminium sheet, completely handmade using the embossing technique, was finished with pigmented resins to enhance the contrasts, give chromatic depth and intensify the expressive charge of the work.
Every groove is carved with awareness, every relief is a choice of truth and denunciation.
In this contrast between the hardness of the metal and the lightness of the message lies the meaning of the work: transforming matter into voice, and art into a civilised act.
