The work is inspired by the famous aria 'Nessun Dorma' from Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot. The silhouette of the violin emerges from the metal surface next to the music sheet, creating a visual dialogue between form, material and sound.
Made of embossed and chiselled aluminium, the composition renders the elements of the instrument with precision and lightness, while the score fragment directly recalls the music that gives the work its title.
The image thus becomes a tribute to the evocative power of music, capable of crossing time and transforming itself into visual form.
