Vedova nera

Black Widow develops as a structure suspended in space, where the web expands from the centre outwards, creating a fragile, taut weave. The metal threads draw an irregular grid that suggests movement, instability and tension.

At the centre of the composition emerges the body of the spider, moulded in aluminium and embossed, which becomes the balance point of the entire structure. The dark surface of the background amplifies the contrast with the metal, making the spider web an almost luminous presence in space.

The work transforms a natural form into an essential construction of lines, voids and tensions, where the metal material becomes sign and structure.
